Hillsborough River Board Technical Advisory Council seeks new member

Hillsborough County Commissioners Seek Applications for HILLSBOROUGH RIVER TECHNICAL ADVISORY COUNCIL  – Applications are due by close of business on December 28, 2023.

Hillsborough County Commissioners is seeking a resident to serve on the HILLSBOROUGH RIVER TECHNICAL ADVISORY COUNCIL. Residents interested in seeking an appointment must reside in and be registered voters in Hillsborough County. These are voluntary positions and members serve without compensation.

This Council advises and makes recommendations to the Hillsborough River Interlocal Planning Board with respect to the development of the Hillsborough River Corridor and monitoring of activities within the Hillsborough River Corridor as they relate to the local comprehensive plan policies that relate to the river.

One position is vacant. Members shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners. Members must have a demonstrated interest in the protection of the Hillsborough River.  The TAC meets Monthly on the 3rd Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.

All applicants must submit a completed Questionnaire for County Appointments and a Standards of Conduct form.  Additional requirements are in the information that follows.

All forms must be signed and dated, and all questions must be answered in entirety to be eligible.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The application is due by close of business on December 28th. Appointments will be scheduled for a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners in January or February 2024.
