Hillsborough County Future Land Use Section Update Project Advisory Team (PAT) Meeting #4

*This meeting will discuss the same topics presented at the virtual Project Advisory Team Meeting #5 on November 16.

Planning Commission staff are currently working on updating the Future Land Use Element of the Unincorporated Hillsborough County Comprehensive Plan. The purpose of this Future Land Use Section Update is to ensure that the character and location of land uses optimize the combined potential for economic benefit and the enjoyment and protection of natural resources while minimizing the threat to health, safety, and welfare posed by hazards, nuisances, incompatible land uses, and environmental degradation.

PAT members will provide feedback that will guide and inform the FLU Update at critical steps in the process and identify areas in the plan where we may need to make changes. Members will also help spread the word to stakeholders and the public about opportunities for public engagement.
