Fancy Women Bike Ride 2023
Tampa’s Fancy Women Bike Ride 2023 was another huge success! On September 17 the event started at the amazing Perry Harvey Sr. Park at 10 AM and fancifully rode through Tampa’s streets until noon. An annual casually-paced ride all about glitz, glamour, and two-wheeled fun, the ladies of Tampa gracefully demonstrated how women can comfortably ride while showing off their “fancy” attire. This experience has been known to encourage more women to be visible and comfortable riding on our streets and in the greater Tampa community. And it’s always a great time filled with vibrant colors!

World Car Free Day 2023
Car Free Day 2023 is being celebrated on September 23, 2023. Come and experience a vibrant celebration in three different areas around the City of Tampa. You will be able to use alternate transportation to get to each area. There will be food trucks, miniature golf, games, a street mural paint-by-number, and other activities in the Downtown area on Marion Street. In the Westshore District at Midtown Commons, you will find the Sunshine Market, REI Bike Tire Clinic, and Bike Rodeo, as well as kids games and chalk artist and station. Finally, at Centennial Park in Ybor, you will find the Ybor City Saturday Market and other activities. Plan Hillsborough is a proud sponsor of this event.
