Plan Hillsborough is thrilled to join forces with the talented Eagle Scout candidate, Noelle Hill, for an electrifying car line painting endeavor set to transform the grounds of West Tampa Elementary School on October 21, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fantastic sponsors, including Frameworks, GBU Life, Pediatric Dentistry by Dr. Jerry Copeland, DDS., and Fehr and Peers, are all in, making sure this project shines like a star. They will help supply water, snacks, and project materials. Plus, Sidewalk Stompers will add some extra fun to the mix. It’s going to be a day to remember, so mark your calendars and be ready to paint the town (or at least the school car line).

Noelle Hill, a remarkable 9th grader at Gaither High School, is breaking barriers and setting new standards in scouting, joining Boy Scout Troop #339 G in 2019. After three years of dedication, she’s poised to become an Eagle Scout at just 14 years old, defying the usual age range of 16-18.

Noelle’s scouting journey is filled with achievements. She’s been a Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Order of the Arrow Representative, and Troop Guide. She’s a Brotherhood Member and a Life Scout, with an impressive 50-mile trek on the Appalachian Trail under her belt.

Her path into scouting is unique. Her parents initially inquired about Girl Scouts but found little information for a local GSA troop. Noelle’s father, Archie Hill, a former Boy Scout and BSA Commissioner, asked if she would like to join the Boy Scouts when he learned girls could participate starting in 2019. She enthusiastically said yes. Now, Noelle is on track to become the first female Eagle Scout in her troop who started their scouting journey from a Scout Pack as a Cub Scout. Mr. Hill also became a Scout Master for Troop #399 G.

Join us on October 21, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at West Tampa Elementary (2700 West Cherry Street, Tampa, 33607) to celebrate Noelle’s journey.

In case of rain, the project date will be postponed to October 28th at 9 a.m.
