Future Land Use Section Update Public Engagement Meeting #1

Planning Commission staff are currently working on updating the Future Land Use Element of the Unincorporated Hillsborough County Comprehensive Plan. The purpose of this Future Land Use Section Update is to ensure that the character and location of land uses optimize the combined potential for economic benefit and the enjoyment and protection of natural resources while minimizing the threat to health, safety, and welfare posed by hazards, nuisances, incompatible land uses, and environmental degradation.
Please join us for the first of four engagement meetings, where we will explain the goals of the Future Land Use Element and the upcoming anticipated changes.
