What’s New

Overview

The purpose of this study is to provide an analysis of the Future Land Use (FLU) categories in the Tampa Comprehensive Plan (the Plan) and associated policy provisions that provide a bonus, incentive, or targeted outcomes above the FLU category in the Plan. The study shall examine the effectiveness of the associated policy provisions in responding to the 2045 Vision and feedback provided by the community. It will also provide recommendations to address the overall structure of the FLU categories. Suggested modifications will be evaluated for future updates to the Plan.

Planning Commission staff is currently meeting with stakeholders and the public regarding the final, detailed recommendations of this study. Check out the two page overview of what’s proposed to change or review the full report. You can also review the public comments that have been gathered.
