TIP Amendment: HART New CNG Buses

The TPO Board will consider amending the Transportation Improvement Program at their February 11, 2026 meeting to add the following project:

  • HART New CNG Buses (FPN 45008-1) to the TIP. HART was awarded a $33M federal grant to replace 32 diesel buses that are past their useful life. This investment will complete HART’s transition to a 100% low emission compressed natural gas (CNG) fixed route fleet. A full CNG fleet will reduce air pollution and maintenance costs, while improving service reliability.
