Hillsborough Rides December 2016 – Become a transportation advisor!

Positions are currently open on our Citizens Advisory Committee  (meets the 2nd Wednesday monthly @ 9a) representing the Port Authority, African-American Community, Business Community, and Neighborhoods. The Livable Roadways Committee (meets the 3rd Wednesday monthly @ 9a) has openings representing Neighborhoods and Transit Users.

The Livable Roadways Committee (LRC) had their interest piqued about modern roundabouts during a recent presentation highlighting their significant safety benefits. Meeting of the minds: Livable Roadways & Community Traffic Safety hold joint workshop

More than 40 diverse safety professionals and advocates attended the first ever FDOT Community Traffic Safety Team (CTST) and the  MPO Livable Roadways Committee workshop on November 5th.
