Melissa Lienhard, AICP | Principal Planner | Tenure: 4 years

Melissa leads a team that works on consistency findings for unincorporated Hillsborough County Comprehensive Plan Amendments and rezonings. We have monthly deadlines and a relatively heavy workload, both of which help keep things interesting and fast-paced. We attend weekly rezoning pre-submittal meetings and counsel members of the community. She also gives testimony at Zoning Hearing Master public hearings and at the Board of County Commissioners Land Use meetings. “My position with the Planning Commission consistently keeps me learning and growing, and I am eager to see what is next.” 

Her favorite part about living in the Tampa Bay region is being so close to so many beautiful beaches.
