Staff Spotlight: Jason Krzyzanowski

Jason Krzyzanowski | Systems Application Developer | Tenure: 3.25 Years

Jason is Plan Hillsborough’s Application Developer for our Planning Support Services Division. Jason’s accomplishments and contributions include working on and developing many of our mapping applications, including PIMA (Planning Information Management Application), One Water, the Floor Area Ratio/Density Calculator and the Community Health Atlas. He also provides database and IT support for our Plan Hillsborough staff.

Jason obtained his bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of South Florida with concentrations in GIS and Meteorology. Prior to joining the Planning Commission, Jason worked at USF, providing IT support in the Office of Financial Aid and the Fish & Wildlife Research Institute developing mobile GIS applications.

Jason is a native to the Tampa Bay region, having grown up in Largo, but also lived in Raleigh, North Carolina and Jacksonville, Florida before returning to the bay area and eventually settling into his new home in Seminole Heights where he enjoys long walks on the beach at sunset, drinking pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain with his lovely wife Susie.
