Overview

The purpose of this task is to evaluate the relative impact of low-cost and high-cost safety treatments. The data gathered through this task can help inform whether future investments should focus on more low-cost treatments or fewer high-cost treatments to maximize potential safety benefits.  The research combined with the results of case studies will lead to making roadway safety design recommendations that have greater value for the money spent.
