This segment will span 1,460 feet of water on the Hillsborough River eastern border, running underneath Kennedy Boulevard Bridge. Once complete, the segment will link MacDill Park to Curtis Hixon, with the entire Riverwalk spanning a contiguous 1.8 miles. It is an 18 month project which is scheduled to open to the public in November 2014.
