It is with a heavy heart that the River Board bid farewell to long-time Technical Advisory Council (TAC) member Stu Marvin. A long-time Temple Terrace resident, Mr. Marvin was first appointed to the River Board’s TAC in 2012. Most recently serving as TAC Chair, Mr. Marvin has been a strident advocate for protecting the river as an essential natural resource for residents and visitors alike. Mr. Marvin has a background as an environmental planner and has been an important voice on the TAC, excellently advocating for the river on behalf of the residents of Temple Terrace.

The TAC advises and makes recommendations to the Hillsborough River Interlocal Planning Board concerning the development of the Hillsborough River Corridor and monitoring of activities within the Hillsborough River Corridor as they relate to the local comprehensive plan river policies. The TAC meets monthly on the 3rd Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Temple Terrace is seeking a citizen interested in the health and well-being of the Hillsborough River to serve as their representative on the River Board’s TAC.
