Public Hearing for changes in election districts for Tampa City Council on January 22

January 2018 – A public hearing will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018  at 7:30 p.m. in the Planning Commission boardroom on the 18th floor of the County Center at 601 E Kennedy Boulevard in Downtown Tampa. Public comment on a plan for single-member election districts for the Tampa City Council 2019 elections is encouraged. The four single-member districts are revised every four years to allow for changes in population. The purpose of the public hearing is for the Planning Commission to approve city council districts after receiving public input and then transmit the new district boundaries to the Supervisor of Elections.
