HART TIP Amendments: HART Section 5307 & Fixed Guideway 5309/5337

The TPO Board will consider amending the Transportation Improvement Program at their October 8, 2025 meeting to add the following projects:

  1. Add programmed funding to HART’s Section 5307 capital assistance project (FPN 408109-1). These funds will be used to repair HVAC units for 21st Avenue and Streetcar facilities, bus purchases, bus shelters, and IT equipment. The total amount programmed in FY26 is $132M but the average amount received annually is closer to $25M
  2. Add programmed funding to HART’s Fixed Guideway Section 5309/5337 project (FPN 415172-1). These funds will be used to keep the streetcar stations in a State of Good Repair. The total amount programmed in FY26 is $1,300,000.
