Join us for a celebration of excellence in planning and design in Hillsborough County at our 41st Annual Planning & Design Awards presented by TECO. Hosted by Brendan McLaughlin, the awards will be presented on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 5:15 pm – 8:15 pm at the Shanna & Bryan Glazer Jewish Community Center.
This awards program is a well-respected tradition honoring projects contributing to a better quality of life in our community and serving as models to learn from and emulate. With the emphasis on the importance of great planning in our own region, our awards program is held in October to align with the many national festivities during the American Planning Association’s (APA) National Community Planning Month and celebration of Great Places in America!

Tickets are on sale September 1 – October 10 at 3:00 pm and can be purchased via credit card at our Ticket Leap site: tpc.ticketleap.com/2023awards/ All guests must be registered and tickets purchased by October 10, 2023. How to Enter
The Entry Form packet includes information on Eligibility, Award Categories & Designations, Judging Criteria, a submission checklist and form.
All entries become the property of the Planning Commission. Photos and drawings submitted may be used by the Planning Commission in materials including websites, social media, publications, presentations, and educational programs, etc.
Read the criteria and follow the submission instructions in the 41st Annual Planning & Design Awards Entry Form.

Deadlines & Entry Fees
Entry fees may be waived for student-designed projects or for projects designed and executed entirely with volunteer resources. Call 813.547.3342 to find out if your project qualifies for a waived fee.
