Pasco Safety Town on the menu at the Info BBQ on August 29th

August 2018 – Make plans to join the Planning Commission and Hillsborough MPO School Transportation Working Group for our August 29 Info BBQ (Brown Bag Quarterly). Under the direction of Cpl. Tim Bullock, Pasco Safety Town is a realistic, child-sized town designed to provide complete hands-on safety education for children ages 5 – 8 in grades K-2 on topics including:

• Pedestrian, bicycle & seat belt safety       • Water & boat safety

• Fire, smoke & electrical safety                   • The right way to call 911

• Safety around animals                                • Stranger danger & drug safety

• Severe weather safety                                 • Internet & general household safety

Join us August 29 from noon until 1 pm on the 26th floor of County Center to hear from Cpl. Bullock on this amazing community project created through the support and cooperation of many businesses, public and private agencies, and civic organizations.
