Giving back at UACDC’s Paint the Town event

Who says planners don’t like getting their hands dirty? On April 21, many Plan Hillsborough staff rolled up their sleeves at Harvest Hope Park and Community Garden to pick up trash, build and paint planter boxes, plant vegetables in the garden, and more. “We celebrated Earth Day and participated in the Hillsborough Soil and Water Conservation District’s Hillsborough 100 Challenge to have 100 organizations do community projects,” said Executive Director Melissa Zornitta. “It was rewarding to give back and see some tangible results immediately. So proud of our team!”
