Farewell to Commissioners Wilds and Willman

In December 2019, the Planning Commission bid a fond farewell to two of its Commissioners, longtime Planning Commission Vice Chair Jacqueline Wilds and Commissioner Jennifer Willman. Their vision, leadership, and commitment to continuing to improve the quality of life in Hillsborough County will be missed. We wish them both continued success.

Jacqueline Wilds served two full terms (8 years) on the Planning Commission, graciously working on behalf of the community she loves so much. In addition to serving as the Vice Chair of the Planning Commission, she also held other important roles throughout her two terms including member-at-large and Chair of the Public Information Committee (PIC), where she was instrumental in the continued success of our annual Planning & Design Awards event.

Jennifer Willman’s professional planning expertise allowed her to get up to speed quickly to fill the remaining time of the City of Tampa appointment. Her background with planning and neighborhood advocacy brought a valuable perspective to the Planning Commission. We wish her well as she returns to her full-time planning career.
