April 2019 – The International Downtown Association (IDA) recently selected 30 of the industry’s brightest professionals for the 2019 Emerging Leaders Fellowship (ELF) program. Karen Kress, AICP, Tampa Downtown Parternship’s Director of Transportation and Planning, was selected among other candidates from three countries and 17 provinces or states. She will attend a week-long experiential program June 16-21, 2019 in New York City. The essential leadership and place management skills and practical tools in the areas of place-based economic development, the live-work-play experience, and public-private partnerships expertise gained in the ELF program will contribute greatly to our community.
