Community engagement grows for WVR-2 and RP-2

Wimauma Village Residential Open HouseMarch 2020 – The project teams for the Wimauma Village Residential & Community Character Profile (WVR-2) and Residential Planned-2 (RP-2) Land Use Study continue to engage the community in key discussions. To ensure an open and collaborative process, both have held stakeholder meetings, feedback sessions, open houses, presentations to community groups, and conducted online surveys. In March, the WVR-2 and RP-2 open houses allowed residents to meet the project teams, ask questions, and share their concerns and vision for their community’s future. Using the responses gathered from each of our public engagement activities, we are working together to develop recommendations on updates to the community plan and/or land use categories as applicable.

View the project webpages below to stay up-to-date, view past presentations, find surveys, sign up for email updates, and more! We will continue to post public meetings and open houses as they are scheduled.
