September 2017 – There is still an opportunity to weigh in on Alternatives for Redistricting for Tampa City Council. To ensure the residents of Tampa’s four single-member districts have equal representation, Florida law requires the voting districts to be as equal as possible in population size. In conjunction with Hillsborough County’s Supervisor of Elections, the Planning Commission has scheduled an additional meeting to the six previously scheduled.
