2025 TIP Roll Forward Amendment

The 2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) roll forward amendment ensures that the first year of the TIP, adopted by the Board on June 11, 2025, matches year one of the FDOT Work Program.

Projects in the FDOT Work Program are a critical component of the TIP. Year one of the TIP and the FDOT Work Program should always match. However, when the new TIP and Work Program are adopted, there are often projects that were supposed to be authorized and encumbered prior to June 30, for various reasons, but were not. These projects will automatically roll forward in the Work Program but will not roll forward in the TIP. Hence, the TIP must be amended to include these projects and match the Work Program. This is accomplished by what is known as a Roll Forward TIP Amendment. This is the first amendment to the TPO’s FY 2026-2030 TIP.

There are thirty-nine (39) projects in the requested TIP Roll Forward amendment package, which include:

  • 11 transit projects
  • 8 resurfacing projects
  • 6 safety projects
  • 4 capacity projects
  • 2 signalization project
  • 3 planning projects
  • 5 various projects which include landscaping, aggregate facility, drainage, etc.

Details on the 39 projects can be found in the TIP comparative reports and/or summarized in the presentation slides.
