2025 Hillsborough TPO Business Operations Report

This inaugural Business Operations Report allows for a better understanding of the innerworkings and organizational strengths of the TPO. It is intended to offer a peek behind the curtain, so to speak, and provides a structured way to assess key functions of the TPO, including operational effectiveness, accountability & regulatory compliance, reputation & brand recognition, financial health, and investments in staff development. Within this structured overview, TPO staff were provided an opportunity to showcase some successes and points of pride from CY2025.
Throughout the year, our team had two primary goals: 1. to build our brand by expanding the TPO’s reach both across media channels and beyond traditional transportation chambers, and 2. improve workflows to simplify the agenda packet production and invoicing procedures. To this end, I am proud to report that this year, the Hillsborough TPO has received a number of awards recognizing its public engagement successes and also that TPO staff were invited to participate in media interviews, serve on panels, and even podcasts. Furthermore, efforts to streamline packet production have resulted in error-free information provided to the public, while new grant invoicing procedures have saved approximately eight weeks of staff time compared to the previous method.
The 2025 Hillsborough TPO Business Operations Report was accepted by the Board on 2 December 2025.
