2020 Commuter Challenge Week February 10-14

2020 Commuter Challenge, love your commute!February 2020 – Our Fourth Annual Commuter Challenge Week will take place February 10-14. We had so much fun last year, we thought you would love another opportunity to fall in love with your commute in preparation for Valentine’s Day! Select a new mode of transportation, other than driving alone, and invite a co-worker to join in the fun. We look forward to seeing your excursion(s) when you share them with us on social media using the hashtag #CommuterChallenge20. You just may find yourself saving money, meeting new people, improving air quality, networking, burning calories on your bike ride, increasing steps during your walk, or maybe even relaxing and reading a book if you choose transit. You just may wind up falling in love with your commute!

We would like to thank our Commuter Challenge partners: Tampa Downtown Partnership | Westshore Alliance | Bike/Walk Tampa Bay | City of Tampa | Hillsborough County | Florida Department of Transportation | Pirate Water Taxi | Walk Bike Tampa | City of Plant City | City of Temple Terrace | Tampa Bay Area Regional Transit Authority | Coast Bike Share | Hillsborough Area Regional Transit | Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority | Cross Bay Ferry – St. Pete – Tampa |  Vision Zero Hillsborough

This same week, we will participate in Love Hillsborough where you can find out about sustainable projects happening in Hillsborough County. The community event will be held on Thursday, February 13 from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at Joe Chillura Courthouse Square, 600 East Kennedy Boulevard. County departments and community partners will showcase sustainability initiatives, programs, and services. Please stop by and visit our table.
